"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become Legend. Legend fades to myth and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again..."
--Robert Jordan, Eye of the World

The First Age of the Internet has come and gone for me, the Second Age is over, too. I am well into the Third Age. In the First Age I coded part of this page for Webchat; in the Second Age, I got broadband access, and it worked out great! But here in the Third Age I do not have the Web Chat anymore because I'm behind a firewall. I do not open ports merely for chatting; too many other programs can silently slip through. I do use Instant Messenger at work...it's not social, so I don't talk to friends on it. I rarely get online socially, but if I do, I'm on the IRC network. I don't even have an Instant Messaging program on this computer anymore. If you need to contact me, EMAIL ME or call.

I use an Instant Message program at work. It must be open in order to facilitate talking to others across the country, so I don't chat on it socially. If you catch me online, you might be able to say "HI!" before I put you on my blocked list. Some of the programs I have been known to use are:

AIM (FREE! from AOL). If you wish to find me, look for me as:
JuiceK

ICQ I don't talk to stangers, and you have to have my permission to add my number. I don't add people I don't know. However, when I'm online, my ID is:
5519902

Yahoo! Messenger My ID for this service is:
CountryLass254. I don't like this service so I'm rarely on it.

GOOD NEWS!
I PASSED THE MCSE 2000!!

But I still have my nose grindstone, working toward a Network Security position. After that, it's back to work again...in the Art field. With my daughter as a published artist (at the tender age of 15), it's time to get out my charcoal and colored pencils, too. Perhaps another change in career is in order??

Until my career changes direction, I'm still learning about Internet Security. I have learned more little factoids from the various security organizations online. This is my favorite site:

Free DynamIP v3.50 is now legacy software
with no download site and no support. But I like it anyway.
