Privet!

That is our Russian hello to you. You have discovered Nadya and Gary Butner's homepage, a very happily married American/Russian couple living in Merriam, Kansas. We are Christians and believe happiness and good marriages are made in heaven, and we want to share the joy we have found with you. Just prior to coming to America Nadya promised to someday write a book about our relationship. I jokingly asked if she was going to title it, The Russian Princess and the Barbarian.  I received an e-mail that very day wanting an immediate explanation.  I discovered very early that Russians have a slightly different sense of humor. Until Nadya's book is finished please enjoy our homepage, and especially the pictures of our families, Russia, our courtship, wedding, and home life. Pictures to My Trip to Russia page have been added, but are still under construction. Later, I will be adding commentary regarding my trip to Russia, and various thoughts regarding seeking a Russian wife.
