Mark your calendars! -- The 4th Annual Blake Croxdale Memorial Rendezvous and Climbing Shoe Demo will be held at Sam's Throne, AR on October 27, 2001.
Steph Davis, sponsored by Patagonia, will entertain with a slide show of some of her adventures Saturday evening.
Representatives from the USFS will be invited out for Q&A concerning the rehab efforts for the Sam's Throne area.

We will also be selling raffle tickets for $1 each as a fund raiser for the Blake Croxdale Memorial Scholarship Fund, and will draw for prizes on Saturday night.
Each ticket is a chance to win some great gear - previous raffle prizes included ropes, sleeping bags, headlamps, clothing, cams and nuts, and girls climbing underwear.

					Shoe Demo -- Patio Wall We will have climbing shoe companies such as Five.Ten, Scarpa and LaSportiva represented with demo shoes for everyone to try. You can try them out on our ropes or do your own thing. Bring your drivers license for a deposit and you can return the shoes at the end of the day. What a great way to try a shoe before buying it!
This climbing shoe demo carried on as tradition and in memory of our friend Blake Croxdale. Blake was an employee of the Pack Rat when he was killed in an unfortunate climbing accident. Blake was a talented climber and organized shoe demo's for LaSportiva in the area.
He loved climbing, had a great time with the demo's that he organized and loved to see people come together and have a good time. A short slide show of some of Blake's adventures will be shown before Steph does her show.
