The Autograph Traders Club
A lot of us, in the
course of our autograph seeking, get extra autographs that we would like to
trade for other autographs we don’t have. Still others are working on
compiling autograph sets and need help filling in some of the players they
are missing. Whatever the reason, I have formed the autograph trader’s club
in an effort to facilitate the trading of hockey autographs.
Rules of the Road
I have a few
guidelines that I would like members to follow. These are very simple steps
to make everyone’s life a little easier.
First, I am not
accepting new submissions to the Trader’s Club at this time. It is very
time-consuming to do. If you really are interested in trading, you should be
able to find someone on the huge list below to trade with. Send them an
e-mail today.
And second, and I cannot stress this
enough, please make sure that all autographs are AUTHENTIC! If you did not
get the card signed yourself or cannot vouch for its authenticity, please let
the other person know up front. One of the biggest scourges for autograph
collectors is fakes, and I want no part of that. If you got the card signed
through the mail it’s still OK to trade, just let the other person know. A little
honesty goes a long ways.
If we can all follow these guidelines, I

The Traders

- Andrew - I am in Dallas and can get almost any Dallas Star. I would
like to trade for other players from other teams. Belfour and Hull and Matvichuk are the hardest, so I can’t
promise them, but other players are relatively easy.
- Josh - I’m looking for any autographs of
players currently on a Minnesota team. Any sport.
- Dave Steinhauser - I’m looking to trade
for any hockey and wrestling autographs. Check out my autographs page: Signature Plus.
- Nick - These are some autographs I have to
trade for the right autographs in return: Wayne Gretzky, Mats Sundin,
Brett Hull, Mikael Renberg, Patrick Juhlin, Pelle Eklund, Mikael
Anderson, and Tomas Sandstrom.
- Jenny & Allison - We have many Coyotes
autographs that we would be willing to trade for members of other teams.
- Michael Rapps - I collect signed hockey
cards and some pucks. I am trying to collect the complete set of 97/98
Upper Deck series 2 signed.
- Law - I am interested in trading for
current Bruins on trading cards from the last few years. Items that I
have to trade are posted on my Mark -

- Phil - I have all teams including almost
all the superstars.
- Eric Halvorsen - I have about 10,000
autographs in my collection. I am looking to trade for any cards or
8X10’s of Konstantinov or Gretzky. I have plenty to trade but would be
willing to sell some of my collection to benefit other collectors out
there.
- Derek - I live in Southern Ontario and have been collecting autographed cards
and 8X10’s in person. Most of my successes in person have come at
Buffalo Sabres games where players are very easy to access. I also have
about 500 Be A Player cards. I’d love to trade for players I don’t have.

- I’m from Sweden, and I collect autographs from Olympic medal
winners. I have about 3000 items to trade from Olympic Games of 1920-98.
- Rich Montalbano - I have autographs for
trade. E-Mail me for my trading list. I am interested in any kind of
current player autographs. I am looking for signed pucks, signed 8X10’s,
and signed cards. I also have loads of unsigned cards to trade for autographs.
- Matt Blake - I have many autographs to
trade, especially those of the Sharks and Capitals.

autographs and am looking to trade for other players from around the

- Rick - I’m a big collector of hockey
autographs. I have a huge list. I’m interested in trading. I’m trying to
complete the 1990-91 Upper Deck hockey set.
- Chris Laird - I have various cards I am
willing to trade in exchange for 93-94 Fleer Ultra set cards. I am
trying to finish my set and find it impossible to do so...I need help.
- Robert Eisenberg - I can get Islander
autographs and have all other teams and game used sticks.
- Jon McCusker - I have team-signed hockey
sticks to trade plus player model signed sticks, 8X10’s, pucks, and more
from players like Lindros, Gretzky, Kariya, Selanne, and more. I collect
mainly baseball and basketball, but I will listen to all offers.
- Mathias Fors - I’m collecting hockey
autographs, especially pucks, but also other kinds of stuff. Anything of
Mario Lemieux is interesting, I have a lot of great stuff to trade. Drop

- Frank Z. - I’ve collected autographs for 5
years now, and I have easy access to the Washington Capitals. I have
around 3000 autographed cards from hotels and from the MCI Center. Looking for Canadien team autographs and
many other players.
- Matt - I have a small collection of hockey
and other sports autographs. I try to acquire cards of current
Pittsburgh Penguins.
- Martina - I am an avid collector of all
and only womens’ hockey cards. I am looking for any autographed womens’
cards to buy or trade.
- Adam Goodman - I am an avid trader, that
lives by the Florida Panthers. I mainly collect 8 X 10’s, and am always
looking to trade for 8 X 10’s. Many Panthers sign for free by my house

- Steve Scovill - I have a limited edition,
3 Silver coin set from the hockey Hall of Fame which depicts the 3 ‘97
inductees (M. Lemieux, Sather, and Trottier). These are only sold (to my
knowledge) at the Hall of Fame in Toronto and are not being made any more. They come in
a custom black velvet case with literature enclosed.
- Greg - I mainly have AHL and former AHL
Players (Jason Allison, Petr Sykora, Eric Fichaud, etc.). I am looking
for young prospects, particularly first round draft choices. I also have
some former Calgary Flames, i.e. Roberts, Kidd, Nieuwendyk.
- J.J. Bonneville - Looking for autographs
from all leagues. See my web page.
- Matthew Elliott - I am collecting
autographs of current and former NHL’ers. Also, I am trying to fill in
holes for my autograph set of NHL on Fox first year.
- Martin Proietti - I’m looking for any
hockey autographs from 1980 to present, any brand, any player, any
medium (e.g. cards, 8 X 10’s, pucks, etc.). I’ll do my best to try and
find something YOU need.
- Jason Trabucco - I live in Toronto and have great access to all Toronto players. I’m trying to complete the 87-88 OPC
Edmonton Oiler team set autographed. I am looking for anyone who lives
in a city that has access to one of those players.
- Marty Donato - I collect pucks and 8 X 10
photos. I have Avalanche and some other teams to trade. Send me a note.
- John Fini - I trade all kinds of hockey
cards, but am specifically interested in acquiring 1988-89 O-Pee-Chee
cards. I also live in the Toronto area, and have access to autographs from
current and past Maple Leafs.
- Guy Lapierre - I have over 2000 autographs
on hockey cards and would like to have a better collection. Drop me a

complete the 91-92 Upper Deck set, but I need some help. I have lots of
autographed cards (of former, current and minor league players) to trade
as well as a few miscellaneous items.

of Nikolai Khabibulin. Autographs, non-autographs, memorabilia, etc.
- Jerry Light - I live by the Sharks and
have tons of hockey autographs. Please e-mail me for a list. Am looking
for hockey autographs and dead band members.
- Todd - I collect 90/91 Score cards signed.
I have 400 of the 440 done and am looking for help. I also collect the
94 Classic Draft series signed and am looking for the inserts
autographed as well. I have 111 of the 120 cards signed but I still need
help with them. I have over 4000 cards signed and just returned from
Coyotes training camp with my son.
- Brad Faxon - I have over 2000 hockey cards
autographed and a couple of 8 X 10s. I am always trying to improve my
collection with trades. If anyone is interested, please e-mail me.
- Jeff Chan - I would like to trade for
autographs of Jagr (or any other Penguin in general). In return, I have
some miscellaneous autographs here and there mainly of the Canucks.

- Reino Hill - I collect autographed cards
and photos of hockey players and other athletes with Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Scandanavian backgrounds. Have duplicates
to trade. Also have hundreds of baseball autographed cards and photos of
pre-1990 players. Many White Sox.
- Andrew Cup - I collect Boston Bruin and
goaltender’s autographs. The majority of my autographs are through the
mail, but I do get some from our local AHL team (Rochester Americans),
and Buffalo Sabres.
- Jim Akre - I need 24 of 199 cards from the
91-92 O-Pee-Chee Premier set. I have hundreds of signed cards from early
nineties and before. I also have other sports available.
- Barry Brennan - I am a big Panthers and
fight fan. I am looking for autographs of the enforcers mostly. All I
have to trade is a few Panther 8X10’s.
- Dean Gallop - I am working on the 1996 UD
SPX hockey set. I only need less than 10 cards for completion but I am
looking for people to trade with. I am trying to get as many Hall of
Famers as possible, so if any hounds out there know of show signings involving
HOFer’s, drop me a line.
- Thomas Andersson - I am interested in
anything that is signed. Have a lot to trade with, about 1000
autographs. I have got almost every superstar. Also interested in former
players and coaches autographs.
- Percy - I’m from Toronto and naturally have lots of Leaf players
autographs. Still new to this hobby with 200 or so autographs in my
collection, looking to make some trades. Most of my autographs are on
cards.

cards of players.
- Roy Lafleur - I am interested in almost
all cards except for Pro Set.
- Matt Hershowitz - Working on the 94/95
Leaf Limited set (only need Chelios). Also looking for autographed 95/96
Parkhurst cards as well as autographed 1996 Fleer baseball cards. I have
close to 350 pucks, 150 photos, and 8000 signed cards, along with sticks
and other stuff. I live near Philly.

from all teams. Willing to pay; not much to trade.
- M. Wyatt - I am interested in trading for
Montreal Canadiens autographs. I have autographs of NHLers, 50% through
the mail and 50% in person. I have access to the IHL Las Vegas Thunder
autographs, too.
- Steve Read - I have over 5000 autographs
of sports stars (mostly hockey). I would like to trade most of them with
others.
- Ali Teimouri - I have autographs for
almost all hockey teams on cards, 8 X 10’s, and pucks. I also have a lot
of Avalanche autographs.
- Jerry Matthews - I am interested in both
active and retired players. One in particular I am looking for is Cam
Neely.
- Frank - I’m collecting autographs on NHL
trading cards. Because I live in Germany, I have a lot of autographs from former NHL
players which are now playing in Germany and Europe. I

cards in all sports. I have many autographed cards to trade, especially
hockey.
- Kevin - I am working on completing
autographed sets of recent Upper Deck, SP, and Donruss Elite. I can
obtain just about anything within reason for trade (mainly west coast
teams).

Parkhurst Tall Boys (reproductions) and any deceased Hall Of Famers.
- Mike - I mainly get Flyers autographs due
to the fact that I live about 2 miles away from their training facility.

- Adem Kendir - I am willing to trade 8X10’s
or cards of anybody in the NHL as well as retired players. I have gotten
all my autographs in person by spending time at the Molson Centre before
and after games and practices. I am looking for Penguins and Red Wings
and a few stars that I still don’t have.
- Heiko Blatterspiel - I am interested in
8X10’s. I have Islanders, Rangers, and I have access to all North
American players in Germany.
- Jason - I want any signed cards. Let me
know if you are interested. I will trade signed or unsigned cards.
- Nate - I want all singed goalie cards I
can get. Will trade signed or unsigned cards.
- Derek Heidel - I am an avid autograph
collector from Philadelphia. I have 1000’s of autographs from the Sixers,
Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies as well as visiting teams. Looking to trade
for autogaphed hockey 8X10’s.
- Rickey Miller - I have alot of AHL players or Junior
players and a few NHLers. I will trade for almost anything I do not

Wings autographed 8X10 photos at a good price.
- Jeff Eagle - I live in Dallas and I am interested in trading. I have over
1500 different players and I am mainly looking to trade with collectors
in Europe. Wanted: European leagues, AHL and IHL
players.
- Jim Higgins - I am interested in
autographed cards of Toronto players and goalies. I live just outside Buffalo and can get all the Sabres quite easily and I
do. You name the Sabres player and I have cards signed. I get them in
person to authenticate.

collection of Montreal Canadiens cards past and present, from Roy to
Richard, and also a large number of Dallas Stars, Flyers, Jets/Coyotes,
and others. Also have memorabilia such as a signed yearbook (Roy,
Svoboda), signed hero’s book (Richard, Cournoyer, Lemaire, Beliveau) and
a number of sticks (Roy, Gretzky, Lindros, McPhee, and Skrudland). Will

- Richard Jansen - I am a collector of all
hockey players with a gold, silver, or bronze medal from the Olympic
Games. I have 4 players to trade from the 94 Olympics: Thomas Jonsson,

kind of memorabilia of Chris Gratton - from either his Lightning days or

autographed photos of NHL stars and semi-stars which are accompanied
with Certificates of Authenticity. I also have many Florida Panthers
autographed 8X10’s. I can scan pictures of the photos if needed. I am
mainly looking to buy or trade for other 8X10’s of stars or semi-stars.

A Player autographs. I have some stars like Brind’Amour, Francis,
Stumpel and many others. I am looking for anything signed by my favorite
players Paul Kariya and Sergei Fedorov and my favorite team the Detroit
Red Wings.

autographed cards and a few hundred 3X5’s of current and former players
including deceased and Hall Of Fame. Most have been acquired via the
mail, but many in person. I want to acquire a more extensive address
list.

autographs, but I have LOADS of cards I can trade if anyone is

Islander autographs - index cards, cards - anything signed. Also
interested in any other hockey autographs. Willing to trade or possibly
buy. I only have about 25 autographs because I’m just starting out.

- Brian - I’m trying to complete a full
autographed set of 1990-91 Pro Set. I have many autos to trade, mainly
from 90-91 Score and Upper Deck, a few from 89-90 Topps and OPC. The
vast majority of my collection has been obtained through the mail.
- Bob - Unfortunately the Whalers left town,
but the Beast of New Haven moved in. I met the team services manager,
got to know him quite well, and have been padding my autograph
collection since! This year alone I got Daniel Briere, Marc Savard,
Christian Dube, J.S. Giguere, and Marc Denis to name a few. I have
access to the locker rooms after games. Trying to get all of the Bowman
CHL 96-97 set autographed.
- Michael Duggan - I am really just
beginning to collect autographs. I collect cards, pucks, sticks, etc.
Currently my prized possessions are a 1996 Sabres team-autographed stick
and a Frank Mahovlich signed puck.
- John Roland - I am looking for Hall of
Fame and past and present goalie autographs (on pucks or photos
preferably). I am close to the Blues practice facility and do many visiting
teams. Let me know what you are looking for.
- Catchin72 - I have all 4 major sports plus
celebrities if anyone is interested. Looking for goalies and Cam Neely.
- Dan - I’m in search of autographed
Winnipeg Jets items or things signed by former Jets. Unfortunately, I
have nothing to trade, but if anyone’s interested in selling their
stuff, let me know.
- Phil Weissgaerber - I am trying to collect
and complete the 1995-96 Pinnacle set. I live in Winnipeg, so I am able to get a lot of oddball IHL
players for other guys collecting sets.
- James - I am interested in acquiring autographed
hockey cards by today’s NHL stars along with some of the past. I have a

- Richard - I am collecting autographs from
NHL players. It does not matter if it is on a card or on paper. Since I
live in Sweden, it can get be hard to get autographs, so I
need help to fill my collection. I have to offer very nice old Swedish
autographs and old Canadians from the World Championships and old hockey
teams like the Waterloo Blackhawks. These are very rare and old.
- Brian Haesche - I collect autographs of
NHL, AHL, and IHL players on both cards and 8X10’s. I live in CT, am a
die-hard Islander fan, and attend games at both the AHL and NHL level.
I’m looking to trade those autograph cards that I have doubles of,
including: Langway, Verbeek, Burke, and Cassels.

- Neil - I am just starting my hockey card
and autograph collection. I am interested in trading anything for some
autographs. I can get Red Wings, Coyotes, and Blues autographs.

or Bruins, both signed in my presence) and a Bobby Hull retired number mini banner (signed in my
presence) that I would be willing to trade for any Roy, Orr, or Brodeur
pucks.

hoping to build on these. I have Curtis Joseph, Andy Moog, Greg Johnson,
and Kevyn Adams. I’m looking for autographs of Jeff Hackett and Alexei
Yashin.
- Brent - I just started collecting
autographs full-time in April, 1998. I collect autographs of any player

Edmonton Oiler hockey sticks and I am looking to purchase or trade for
sticks or other Oiler items.
- Alex - I live in New York and I have
Rangers, alot of Islanders and many more teams. Over 1000 cards
autographed and about 35 8X10’s of many stars of the NHL.
