Graduated from Elmira College about 1916. She then went to Columbia University, became a teacher, spoke German, Spanish, and Latin. She had to stop teaching German during World War I since it was illegal in New York. She met her husband when teaching in Rahway City, New Jersey. After marriage, they moved to Utica, Oneida County, New York where she was born. She legally changed her name to Leonora. She died of cardiac arrest at 97 years of age.

208. Raymond Leland Johnsmeyer
Died at Stoneybrook Retirement Community in Manhattan, Kansas. He was born in Cleburne, Kansas. He attended grade school in Randolph and attended Manhattan High School after moving with the family to Manhattan in 1921. He operated Johnsmeyer Gold Medal Bakery in Aggieville for several years as a partner with sister Erna. He later went into business with his father at Johnsmeyer's Feed and Seed Store. He sold the business in 1963. He later managed the Phillips Westside Service Station and then purchased his own station at Anderson Avenue and Highway 24. He retired in 1973.
Raymond was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, member and past president (1940) of Junior Chamber of Commerce, and member and past state president and Exalted Ruler of Elks.
He married Marcella Weaver in 1931.
He suffered from Parkinson's Disease and pernicious anemia.
Marcella eventually died of Alzheimers.
