A note from Julie:
Thank you for visiting my web site. As you can see, I love flowers and as an artist I enjoy capturing them in digital photography. My images come in three sizes: 14 x 12, 20 x17, or 26 x 22 matted and signed. I photograph all the flowers, process and print them myself. Each image is properly color managed and retouched as needed. I print the files on an Epson Stylus Pro 4000 with Ultrachrome inks on Moab Entrada rag paper. Each image is also available without scripture at no extra charge. To make a purchase please call me at 816.966.0505 or email me at jleggphotography@yahoo.com. Please put "Picture Order" in the subject line.

My Photographic Vision
I have always been attracted to flowers. I love their colors, textures, and designs. Then I began to photograph them close up. I found a whole new, unexplored world. I became even more awed by the hand of God in His creation. It has always been natural for me to see God's hand in such a complicated yet simple design as a flower. For me beauty is divine. Science cannot explain beauty.
I find much beauty in all of nature, but flowers speak to me like parables and metaphors of scripture. King David wrote in Psalm 19, "The heavens are telling the glory of God." My psalm to the Lord would say the flowers are telling the glory of God! That is why I try to match each image with its own scripture. I am attempting to interpret God's message of the grand story He is telling. It is my great hope that somehow my art exudes the heart of God toward you and me, His greatest creation of all.
