Our High Tech Ancestors (HTA), from Space, Colonized Earth, and had Eternal Physical Life; they were called High 'Beings', Man Gods and Angels, whom many saw and talked to, face to face. They reproduced High Tech Asexual Humans, and the Pure-bred Colony of Adam and Eve in a High Tech Womb, the Higher Nature, in the Garden of Eden. The Original Asexual Colony 'fell' to the Lower Nature of Heterosexual Body Birth; they lost their High Tech, and had to go through the cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. They returned to the Unbalanced High Tech Elements during the Noah/Atlantis Society which caused the Planetary Flood; they were the builders of Noah's Ark, which was as big as the Titanic. I hope when this knowledge is understood, the Ark can be found, if not on Mt. Ararat, then on some mountain in the Mid-East. With our High Tech camera surveillance, maybe the Ark can be found to prove it was a High Tech boat, not primitive, and that the Planetary Flood is a fact. Beside finding buried cities, many are trying to find Noah's Ark. So far no one has succeeded. Let us hope with all our High Tech we can locate this, although some say, the people after the Flood may have used the wood, for their immediate needs. If it is up on a mountain, it proves it was not a local flood, but a Planetary Flood.
"The Flood", 1967. By Alfred M. Rehwinkel, M.A.,B.D.,LL.D. "Charles A. Totten, professor of Military Science and Tactics at Yale University, writes as follows: "The dimensions of the ark are given in the Bible as 300 cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. It had three decks. Regarding the cubit as eighteen inches, the floor space on one deck would be 33,750 square feet. On the three decks of the ark there was then a total of 101,250 square feet of deck space. But since it was likely that the small and medium-sized animals were put in cages, in tiers, one above the other, not only the floor space, but the cubic space must be considered. The cubic capacity of the ark, at 18 inches as the measure of the cubit, was for each deck 500,000 cubic feet, or 1,500,000 cubic feet for the three decks. - Moses was directed to work according to a pattern shown him. The so-called 'great cubit' of Ezekiel revealed to him by God was an ordinary cubit plus a hand's breadth, or about two feet. Supposing this to have been the length of the cubit, the ark was then 600 feet long and 100 feet wide and sixty feet high, having a capacity of 3,600,000 cubic feet. An ordinary cattle car on the railroad carries of cattle, from eighteen to twenty head; or of hogs, from sixty to eighty head; or of sheep, from eighty to one hundred head. One thousand of such cars, duly proportioned, could be stored away in Noah's ark. Such was the capacity of Noah's ark, a ship whose dimensions have, from general misunderstanding of their true significance, been persistently ridiculed as unequal for their task."
One of the misteachings of the Flood stories is that the animals went into the Ark two by two. There are two Bible verses that tell two different views of the animals Noah took with him. It sounds like Noah only took seven pairs of clean beasts and seven pairs of fowls of the air, but two of the rest of the types.
The Gospel Truth. Genesis 6:19. "And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee: they shall be male and female." -
Genesis 7:2,3. "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth."
K.C. STAR, 4/1/19'77'. "Tests Show Wood Pile Not Ark" Washington (AP) - If you're looking for Noah's Ark, keep looking. It's not on Mt. Ararat. Scientists who tested some old wood found on the Turkish peak say it's not old enough. University of California scientists say a pile of oak timber found 22 years ago on Ararat, near the Turkish-Soviet border, is about 1,200 years old. That's about 2,700 years too young to be the ark in biblical accounts. Speculation about the tooled wood has increased with recent filmed and written accounts suggesting it come from the biblical vessel. Scientists say the timber is from a tree cut down about 700 A.D. Dr. Rainer Berger, a U.C.L.A. archaeologist, said that new studies of the wood confirm earlier tests in England and at U.C.L.A. in 1970. Those tests were questioned by critics. Berger said the new tests were so thorough that they should end any speculation that the wood is from the ark. The Bible says Noah and his family took one male and one female of every kind of animal into the ark before a flood brought on by 40 days and 40 nights of rain. Chapter 8 of Genesis says, "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the 17th day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat." Berger said the present Ararat may not be the same mountain as in ancient times. The Bible names a vicinity, not a specific mountain.
""Somebody should go there and hack out of the ice and snow whatever wood is buried there, and reassemble it to see what it was," Berger said. "This is the way archaeologists normally do things." But the 13,500-foot mountain is in a politically touchy area of the Soviet border, and Turkish officials have denied permission for a full archaeological study. Berger said the timber could be the remains of a shrine, perhaps erected to commemorate the landing of the ark in the area. "It's a human tradition to do that sort of thing", he said. "We tend to preserve or put up monuments at the sites of historical events, like where the Battle of Gettysburg took place or the log cabin where Lincoln was born." In a recent paper Berger described how he and R. Erwin Taylor of the university's Riverside campus dated the wood by measuring carbon-14 depletion. A living organism takes in this radioactive isotope until it dies. By measuring how much carbon has decayed, scientists estimate when the material died."

"Explorers think they've found ark" Ankara, Turkey - "Five Americans and one Turkish explorer believe they have discovered Noah's Ark on the southwestern face of Mount Ararat, a team spokesman said Saturday. "Members of the team arrived at the site of a boat-shaped formation clearly visible at the 5,200-foot level on Wednesday and Thursday", said Marvin Steffins, the president of International Expeditions, based in his hometown of Monroe, La., and the head of the team. "We believe further archaeological investigation and scientific evaluation will prove this to be the site of the remains of the Ark of Noah", he told a news conference. - The book of Genesis in the Bible says that after a great flood inundated the Earth, the ark with its cargo of two of every kind of animal came to rest on the "mountains of Ararat". The Moslem holy book, the Koran, also mentions both the flood and the ark. - According to Genesis, the ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits high. A cubit, an ancient form of measurement, is believed equal to between 18 and 22 inches. That would make the ark at least 450 feet long. - The team plans to return to Mount ararat next summer, the best season for exploration and work in the region, he (Steffins) said. There are still two other American teams on the mountain searching for the Ark. "All three American teams are in contact with each other", Mr. Steffins said."

"Samples from 'ark' site discounted" Ankara, Turkey - "Turkey's culture and tourism minister said Wednesday there is no historic value to samples of rock and sand from Mount Ararat which a U. S. team claims are from Noah's Ark. Mukerrem Tascioglu told a news conference that authorities took the samples from the suitcase of International Expeditions president Marvin Steffins of Monroe, La., and had them analyzed at the Instanbul Archaeology Museum. "The samples are only rocks and soil, not wood, and it is understood that they don't need any protection, because they are not ancient pieces", Mr. Tascioglu said. But he added that the samples will be brought to Ankara for further tests to determine their content and approximate age."
K.C. TIMES, 8/7/19'82'. "Former astronaut will search for Noah's ark" "Former astronaut James Irwin, who explored the mountains of the moon during a 1971 Apollo flight, plans to lead a 12-man expedition up a mountain in Turkey to search for Noah's ark. The expedition will leave Colorado Springs, Mr. Irwin's home, on Saturday and begin an ascent of the 17,000-foot Mount Ararat next week. Wreckage of a large, barge-like hulk has been sighted by many expedition over the past century on the mountain, the astronaut said. Mr. Irwin, a Baptist fundamentalist, said, "I feel the vessel is definitely Noah's ark"."
K.C. STAR, 8/30/19'85'. "Letters" "The ark isn't there" By W.B. Dulin. "James Irwin, the astronaut, is making his fourth assault on Mount Ararat to try to find a remnant of Noah's Ark, which is said to have settled there when the flood receded. Mr. Irwin is wasting his time and money. There is not now and never has been an ark up there, and here is why. The Bible states that the flood crested out at 15 cubits. The ancient Hebrew cubit was 17.6 inches. The Roman Empire cubit was 21.6 inches the Greek cubit was 18 inches. Originally the ancient cubit was the distance from the elbow to the tips of the fingers. So let us just take a rough average that a cubit was 20 inches. Fifteen cubits times 20 inches is 300 inches, or 25 feet. So the flood crested at 25 feet. My encyclopedia states that Mount Ararat is 17,260 feet high. So we take the flood's crest of 25 feet from the 17,260 feet and we find that Mount Ararat pierced the sky at 17235 feet above the crest of the flood. The flood would have barely reached the foothills of Mount Ararat. So come on down, Jim. There is no boat up there."
K.C. STAR, 9/6/19'85'. "Letters" "Above the waters" By H.A. Lillie. "Will you kindly allow me to enlighten a Public Mind writer of Aug. 30 relative to some important facts regarding Noah's Ark? Let the Bible speak for itself. Gen. 1: 18-20, KJV: "And the waters prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered." As to location, Gen. 8:4: "And the ark rested in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month upon the mountains of Ararat." I would also like to quote the same portion from the Asaac Lesser translation of the Hebrew Bible: "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that are under the whole heavens were covered. Fifteen cubits above them did the waters prevail and the mountains were thus covered." Speculation proves nothing, facts do."
K.C. STAR, 9/9/19'85' "Letters" "Over the top" By J. Heinzman. "The author of 'The ark isn't there', Public Mind, Aug. 30, claims that Noah's Ark cannot possibly be on Mount Ararat because the flood crested out at 15 cubits, which wouldn't even have reached the foothills of the mountain. That is not true. The Bible states: "And the waters prevailed so mightily upon the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered; the waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them 15 cubits deep". (Gen. 7:19,20.) That sounds to me like the water came 15 cubits over the top of the highest mountains. I wish Mr. Irwin luck on his expedition."
"The Ark Today", March-April-May, 1987. By Genesis Institute, Editor Walter Lang. "Where is Noah's Ark?" "It is no longer a question today whether Noah's Ark is on Mt. Ararat, but to pin-point the exact location. The magazine 'Ararat Report' sent out from the Creation Information Ministries, Richardson, TX., has some interesting observations in its Feb.-March, 87, issue. It mentions Captain G. Schwinghammer, who seemingly saw the ark after World War II. It also mentions a U2 photograph that somehow got out of security and seemed to show a picture of Noah's Ark as a barge on the mountain. It is also convinced that what George Green, the helicopter pilot, took a picture of in 1953 was not Noah's Ark, but the same rock formation that Croster of Franklin, TX, took a picture of and thought was Noah's Ark. The question today, is whether the Ark is at 14,000 feet, according to the testimony of Ed Davis, or whether it is at 14,500 feet where Navarre claimed he found wood, or whether it is above 15,000 feet as some are claiming today."
"Noah's Ark: I Touched It", 1974. By Fernand Navarra. Publisher's Foreword. "In the remote borderland where Turkey, Iran, and the Soviet Union meet, Mount Ararat's snowcapped peak rises majestically 16,900 feet above sea level, dominating the harsh landscape below. In this region, from the thirteenth to the eighth centuries B.C., flourished the kingdom of Urartu, which has yielded many of its secrets to the archaeologist's spade. Today, nomadic Kurds pasture their sheep on the mountain's ample slopes. The name Ararat, of course, is forever linked with that of Noah, and as such is of more than casual interest to Moslems, Christians, and Jews the world around. Through the centuries, adventurers and historians have reported that the remains of Noah's Ark are still to be found on the mountain. Among the better-known writers who mentioned the renowned vessel was Flavius Josephus (ca. 37-100 A.D.). Twelve hundred years later, Marco Polo, passing along what the natives told him in his travels, declared that the Ark still rested somewhere on the mountain. During the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth, others have reported sighting an ancient wooden ship, partially covered by ice and snow, high on the rugged slope. - During the past two decades, Fernand Navarra, an industrialist of Bordeaux, France, has stirred renewed interest in the riddle of Ararat. Starting in 1952, he has made repeated ascents, and succeeded in finding sizable pieces of hardwood - hewn timbers, not logs or trunks - which he has brought back for inspection by others."
"Book" - "Cappadocia (old Urgup, Turkey) presented a striking contrast to the harsh, colorless steppe of Central Anatolia. White cliffs barred the skyline, tinged, depending on the time of the day, with yellow, pink, or tender blue. Throughout the green countryside stood pyramids and cones, the highest of which reached 3250 feet. Some of them were topped with rocks. This was the Valley of a Thousand Churches. From a distance, it looked like thousands of spires, steeples, and pinnacles. These sharp rocks, probably of volcanic origin, had been hollowed out, sometimes until almost empty. Depending on their size, they had one or more rooms, each with window openings. Who hollowed out these dwellings? The monks and hermits who lived there until the Ottoman invasion were only the last of a succession of occupants. In Cappadocia, formerly one of the centers of Christianity in Asia Minor, we viewed numerous architectural ruins. We saw rupestral (carved out of the rock) churches decorated with frescoes, the most ancient of which were related to Syriano-Palestinian art. Others showed a Byzantine influence, witnessing to the extension of that culture toward the East. In return, in the fourteenth century, Byzantium absorbed Oriental influences transmitted through Cappadocia. Thus the region become a melting pot for the various elements which formed the Byzantine art. - My research brought me many a surprise. I learned that there were not two or three, but twenty or thirty different accounts of the Deluge. Many different people had their own version of the catastrophe, with salvation given to a few through divine favor. - It is generally admitted that in the Bible the word "Ararat" means a country or region - Armenia - not a mountain.
"And it is true that the three other passages where it is mentioned (Isa. 31:38; 2 Kings 19:37; Jer. 51:27) refer to the "country of Ararat" and the 'kingdoms of Ararat". But if we admit, as commentators do, that Ararat and Armenia mean the same, it appears that the "mountains of Ararat" (mentioned once only, in Genesis) would designate what we call "mount Ararat" today. Could Noah and his family, after leaving the Ark, have descended the slope of Ararat? This is not beyond human possibilities. I have had the experience five times. Besides, it is logical that the receding water first uncovered the highest summit. Mount Ararat is not only the site where the Ark lands, it is also the place where God speaks to Noah, promising him never to curse the earth again because of man, and offering him divine blessings. In the Bible, many a solemn encounter between God and man takes place on a mountain. Ararat has been called the "Mother of the World". This idea of center, in the case of Mount Ararat, compels recognition. Equally distant from the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, and the northern part of the Mesopotamian plain, Mount Ararat is the central spot of the line of plateaus which extends from the Bering Strait to the Cape of Good Hope. For these reasons, it has been considered "not only as the historical center of the Armenian plateau, but also as the center of gravity of the ancient world". Mount Ararat is a volcanic group with a double summit, Great Ararat and Little Ararat, which covers 400 square miles. In the southwest, it overlooks the plateau of Bayazid, 5000 feet above sea level. In the north, it borders the alluvial plain of the Aras River with an altitude of 2950 feet.
"The main characteristic of Mount Ararat is its apparent isolation, which gives it a striking appearance. In the west, it is connected to the volcanic chain of the Aghri-dagh, which itself joins the Taurus chain and the southern part of the Anti-Caucasus chain. Nevertheless, you get the impression of a soaring monolith. This is not only illusion, for although Mount Ararat, with its 16,900 feet, is not nearly so high as Himalayan and other summits, it is the first when you measure its height above the land surrounding it. It stands 14,275 feet above the plain of Etchmaidzin, while Everest, Elbruz, Chimborazo, and Mont Blanc overlook the neighboring valleys only by 9800 feet to 13,000 feet."
"The Quest for Noah's Ark" By John Warwick Montgomery. "The destruction of well nigh the whole human race, in an early age of the world's history, by a great deluge, appears to have so impressed the minds of the few survivors, and seems to have been handed down to their children, in consequence, with such terror-struck impressiveness, that their remote descendants of the present day have not even yet forgotten it. It appears in almost every mythology, and lives in the most distant countries, and among the most barbarous tribes. - Sir William Jones, (1746-1794), the first who fairly opened up the great storehouse of eastern antiquities, describes the tradition of the Deluge as prevalent also in the vast Chinese empire, with its three hundred millions of people. He states that it was there believed that, just here the appearance of Fohi in the mountains, a mighty flood, which first "flowed abundantly, and then subsided, covered for a time the whole earth, and separated the higher from the lower age of mankind". - The Sumerian recension designates the Ark as a 'magurgur', which means "a very great ship", "a giant boat". This word occurs also in the Semitic Babylonian deluge fragment from Nippur, where it corresponds to the Semitic phrase 'elippu rabitu', used two lines previously in that text and signifying "a great ship or boat". - Some may feel that the Ark was too large for early man to have attempted. A survey of the ancient world shows in fact the very reverse. One is constantly amazed at the enormous tasks which our ancestors attempted. The Great Pyramid was not the work of the later Pharoah; it was the work of the 4th Dynasty - long before Abraham! -
"So we agonizingly placed one foot ahead of the other, on as firm ice as we could find, and at 1:30 P.M., Monday, August 17, 1970 we stood on the very peak of Noah's mountain! It was incredible, unbelievable. Through the swirling mist we knew that Iran and Russia lay below us, and in the snow at our feet we found the canister and tattered tricolor of Navarra's French expedition of 1952. - Short of joining an archeological equivalent of Alcoholics Anonymous ("Ark Analysts Anonymous"?), what are our chances of a successful cure? Since only the recovery of the vessel itself would serve the purpose, what are the possibilities of its actually coming about? - "Even if the Ark turned up, do you seriously expect it would convert men, or even change their view of the Bible?" Such questions have to be faced. Certainly the discovery of the Ark could not be regarded as a panacea for Christian missions! - The critics who once maintained that Moses could not have written the Pentateuch since writing was not even in existence at that time, and who were subsequently confronted with archeological proof of four different writing systems available to Moses in the Egypt of his day, then shifted to other Old Testament "absurdities". - The presence of Flood accounts in the traditions of peoples throughout the globe and the place of Noahic events in the Hebrew, Moslem, and Christian religions would create almost universal interest in a major discovery relating to the Deluge. The missionary value of the find would be staggering, if only on the level of providing a common ground for the general presentation of the biblical message."
K.C. TIMES, 3/28/19'74'. "Searching for Ark" Istanbul, Turkey - "The animals went in two by two, according to the Bible, and for the last 100 years men have been going up by the dozens to the austere peak of Mt. Ararat in eastern Turkey to search for Noah's Ark. This summer yet another expedition will tackle the 16,945-foot peak. The climbers may not even be looking in the right place. Moslems and many Eastern Christians believe the ark came to rest after the flood not on Ararat but on the much lower mountain of Judi Dag, in the Western Hakkiari Mountains 200 miles southwest of Ararat. The story of Noah and his ship is older than the Hebrew version recorded in Genesis, historians say, and the original Babylonian or Sumerian version probably named Judi Dag, in the far north of the world as they knew it, rather than Ararat, which may not even have been known to them. The Judi Dag tradition was handed down independently of the Bible and is recorded in the Moslems' Koran. - Mt. Ararat lies on the sensitive 3-way border of Turkey, Soviet Armenia and Iran. The Russians are reported to have protested in the past against ark expedition, terming them spying trips. - The mountain's most noticeable feature is its single unbroken slope of 13,200 feet, the largest such slope in the world, from the Araxes Valley up to the summit pyramid. The climb takes two or three days."
"The Outer Space Connection" By Alan and Sally Landsburg. "There is still some question as to whether the Ark even rests upon Mt. Ararat. If the Bible reports upon the same cataclysmic flood as the Sumerian tablets describe, then still another site is possible. For Utanapishtim says: "I opened the window and the light fell on my face. The ship lay upon Mt. Nisir. Mt. Nisir held the ship and allowed it not to move". Moreover, the old Babylonian cuneiform writing describes with great precision the location of Mt. Nisir. It lies between the Tigris River and the Zab River among the rugged Kurdistan mountains of Iran. No one has searched mt. Nisir for the Ark, and the question of whether the Bible and Utanapishtim describe the same flood remains unanswered."
"The Ark On Ararat" By Tim La Haye and John Morris. "It is not our purpose here to discuss the geological implications of the Flood. Space does not permit us to detail the effects of such a catastrophe. The many extensive fossil graveyards - the great coal and oil deposits, overwhelming thickness of sedimentary rock, volcanic and tectonic activity on an unprecedented scale, continents splitting apart, ocean basins forming, tidal waves, hurricanes - can only be mentioned. Suffice it is to say that in the original Hebrew text the word which is translated 'flood' implies more than a deluge, even more than a catastrophe; indeed, it is the root from which we derive our concept of cataclysm. This can mean nothing less than an earth-changing, world-restructuring event. - A great deal of evidence exists indicating that not only was Mt. Ararat once covered by water, but it even erupted while submerged under great depths of water. In common with many mountains around the world, Mt. Ararat exhibits fossil-bearing strata. Sedimentary rock (by definition laid down by flood waters) containing the fossilized remains of ocean creatures has been found as high as the snow line, approximately a 14,000-foot elevation. Furthermore, on the exposed northeastern face, layers of lava are intermingled with layers of sediments. More evidence was revealed when a certain type of lava was discovered on Mt. Ararat as high up as rocks are exposed, at least to the 15,000-foot level. This lava is known as "pillow" lava, because of its pillow-like appearance, and is formed only when the lava is spewed out under great depths of water.
"The heat sink of the water "freezes" the lava almost immediately, so quickly that only very small crystals are formed. Because of the intense water pressure, gasses in the lava are trapped inside, having no time to bubble out. Consequently, the resulting rock is very dense and hard and has a high glass content. The quick cooling also causes the rock to take on a smooth rounded shape, resembling a pillow. Around Mt. Ararat, one sees more evidence of catastrophe. A few miles northwest of Mt. Ararat, salt is being minded. Evidently, as the flood waters covered the area and volcanism was rampant, vast amounts of salt which were underground were forced to the surface. Such an extensive deposit could not be the result of slow evaporation. Southwest of Mr. Ararat, where hundreds of gypsies make their summer camp, lava, in all likelihood from the Flood period, is still hot. A blanket of limestone covers the basalt, but groundwater trickles below, is heated, and returns to the surface in the form of geysers and hot springs. The very existence of this hot layer does not fit long ages geology but conforms quite well to the concept of a global Flood a few thousand years ago, causing unequaled volcanic activity and laying down thicknesses of sediments. During the Flood period, Mt. Ararat grew to its greatest height, estimated at 20,000 feet. A shield-type volcano, it repeatedly erupted, not only adding to its height with the addition of the lava above but also the pressures below simply shoving the mountain up. Since that time erosion has worn the mountain down. As the subterranean pressures were relieved, the massive mountain sank, forming a moat around its base.
"This is a poorly drained area, especially on the south side where today remains an uninhabitable, snake-infested swamp, and the rivers run toward the mountain. Far below the surface of the ground lies the reason for all of this activity. Mt. Ararat lies along a twisting and complex earthquake fault system trending east-west. It is referred to as the Ararat-Alagoz Fault and is part of a larger system running generally in a north-south direction from Europe to Africa known as the East Africa Rift. This Rift dwarfs the potentially dangerous San Andreas Fault in California and Mexico and is responsible for the formation of the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee in Israel and the Red Sea in Egypt. No wonder Mt. Ararat bears so many scars. - The Armenians maintain that the remains of the Ark still exist. - Evidently, as each generation succeeded the previous one, the location of the Ark was passed on from father to son, and even though few people visited it or even saw it from a distance, everyone knew its hiding place. And each generation knew that near the end of time once again the Ark of Noah would be revealed to an unbelieving world, calling attention to the truth of the Scriptures and reminding people to turn from their evil ways. - Keeping in mind that the Armenians trace their ancestry to Noah's grandson and claim to have lived in the Ararat region since that time, let us examine some of the more significant ones. - Today, no Armenians live on or near Ararat. Many live in Russia within sight of the mountain, but whatever traditions or memories they retain from previous trips to the remains of the Ark are generally inaccessible to Westerners. -
"Since the Flood of Noah is a historic event and since Mt. Ararat was the landing place of the Ark, then it follows that the first civilizations, and, therefore, the most ancient archaeological sites, are located in the general Ararat region and radiate outward to all other parts of the world. It is interesting to note that Mt. Ararat sits in a very unique place on the globe. Computer science has found that the center of the geographical land masses of the world is very near Ararat. Furthermore, there are no geographical formations that would hinder migration from Ararat. No oceans, deserts or mountain ranges which would prohibit easy access to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia, and the Far East. - Cummings and Hewitt (in 1969) set off on foot to attempt to relocate and photograph the ancient cuneiform inscriptions discovered by Col. Alexander Koor in the early 1900s. - Discovered in 1969 were ruins of a magnificent shrine, the walls of which are in places ten feet thick; a huge altar thirty feet high, made of hand-hewn lava; an ancient graveyard with carvings and inscriptions on the tombstones; one major tombstone sporting eight striking crosses of seemingly Sumerian origin; several stone buildings; a grinding wheel five feet in diameter, and similar structures, all in an area so remote that even the mountain people seldom venture there and an outsider would not consider it. - In the upturned strata east of Dogubeyazit rests one of the most inspiring castle ruins in Turkey, Isak Pasa. - Within sight of this well-known attraction is another more important area that has not drawn so much attention.
"High on a vertical rock face one can see the entrance to a hand-carved cave, framed on each side by relief carvings of priests and on the top by an animal in a sacrificial position. - There is considerable disagreement as to the exact origin of the cave, but all agree the cave stems from a very ancient civilization. - Turkey has rightly been termed an archaeologist's paradise. In the past, European and American museums have stocked their displays with artifacts taken from Turkey. Even in spite of recent prohibitions on removing any artifact from Turkey, an elaborate smuggling ring continued to operate, forcing stricter measures. In the spring of 1973 stiff penalties were promised to anyone attempting to remove any object of even minor historical value. So, without proper excavation permits, it is entirely impossible to do any more with this cave than has already been done. It is hoped that soon a professional archaeological effort will be launched to open up these underground apartments and tunnels. If they truly date from the suspected ancient Pre-Hittite civilization, than it is just possible that information and artifacts are contained inside which would shed great light on the days of Noah soon after the Flood. - Humanly speaking, it seems that the search for the Ark has come to a standstill. This chapter, while dealing with the international political situation, graphically depicts the obstacles confronting future exploration efforts. The one ray of hope, under present conditions, is for the Turks themselves to take an active interest. Needless to say, their tourism industry has taken a nose dive.
"Such a find would not only be a grand attraction, but the discovery of the Ark would shift world opinion, and Turkey could regain some of its lost popularity. Such interest among the Turks is not cut out of the realm of possibility. In May, (76) John Morris spent many hours in consultation with influential Turks, who began to see the importance of the Ark's relocation and documentation. All of the ICR research material was bared and discussed, and the most likely locations were displayed. Even in the face of such overwhelming odds, it is refreshing to note that we do not need to rely solely on our human resources. If God is in the project, and we are confident that He is, we can expect Him to bless. - A great many scholarly works have been published, compiling and discussing these various traditions, over 200 of them! - One thing is sure, Peoples all over the globe "remember" the Flood. Not because they experienced it, but because every man alive is indeed a direct descendant of Noah himself! If the Flood is actually a historical event, and if it was a global catastrophe, as almost all the traditions claim it to be, then no one could have survived without the Providential protection of the Ark. All men consequently descended from the survivors on board Noah's Ark. As they migrated in family groups from the Ararat area and later from Babel, they carried with them not only the story of destruction of the world by water, due to the wickedness of man, but of God's grace and method of salvation for the righteous - that of a huge boat which landed on a mountain top.
"In their travels, the story changed and was adapted to their adopted culture, but the essence remained the same. - The conclusion must stand. The universal Flood traditions can only have come from a common source, embellished with local color and culture, but retaining enough pertinent data to convey both historical and moral concepts. - Mt. Ararat is uniquely suited as a starting place from which to replenish the earth. - Once again, migrations from the area around Babel could have occurred with little difficulty, particularly to the Far East, the Middle East, and Africa. Could it be a coincidence that Noah's Ark landed so near the center of the earth's geographical land mass and in the ideal spot from which migration could occur with the greatest ease? - We can conclude then, that during the later stages of the Flood, the ocean basins were forming, widening and growing deeper as the ocean floors dropped. The waters rushed into these newly formed basins, and the land reappeared. The new continents were greatly different from the old ones. A year of violent geologic upheavals, volcanism, earthquakes, tidal waves, erosion, and deposition had left its mark. As the water washed off, it gouged out river systems, valleys and canyons, leaving scars everywhere. - The rainbow was a completely new experience to Noah. It had not been seen before. Such a refraction and separation of the visible light spectrum is due to the sun's rays striking water droplets in the sky. Before the Flood, the sky had been filled with water vapor, an invisible gas which cannot so separate the light. But after the Flood, as today, clouds of minute water droplets are capable of producing the beautiful rainbow. -
" Two conclusions dominate regarding the possible discovery of Noah's Ark: "Preposterous", and "Imminent". There are others, of course, but they range somewhere between the two. We think the holder of either view is more influenced by his preconceived ideas regarding the historicity of Noah and the Flood in his day than by the evidence for the existence of the remains of the Ark is ours. - But those who question the validity of the Bible's story in the first place are too skeptical to be persuaded by "stories". The only thing that will convince them is the actual discovery and examination of the Ark itself. - There is nothing in the Bible that demands that the Ark be discovered, either in our day or any other time. - You can imagine what the discovery of a ship the size of a modern aircraft carrier at the 14,500 foot altitude on Mt. Ararat would do to those committed to the idea of evolution. Such a disclosure would establish the fact of a world-wide flood, as taught in Scripture, thus stripping the evolutionist of his so-called "evidence" in the fossils found in the geologic column. It is our opinion that no other one event, except the return of Christ, would be so devastating to the atheistic philosophies based on evolution that currently dominate every major discipline in the Western World. - The Ark of Noah is a fact of history! This fact is supported by the Bible, Jesus Christ, the apostles, universal flood stories, ancient flood inscriptions, and geological evidence that throughout the earth there was indeed a worldwide Flood."
K.C. STAR, 4/7/97. "Professor sues Noah's Ark 'discoverer'" "Australian alleges claim of find broke consumer protection laws" Sydney, Australia - "Citing consumer protection laws, a leading Australian scientist is suing a man who claims to have found Noah's Ark. Professor Ian Plimer, head of earth sciences at the University of Melbourne, accuses Allen Roberts of breaching Section 52 of Australia's Trade Practices Act with his claim that the wreck of Noah's Ark is atop Mount Ararat in Turkey. The suit, which opens today, alleges misleading and deceptive conduct. The Federal Court in Sydney is the unlikely setting for a legal battle, which is attracting attention from around the world. Creationists warn that if the action - which relies on a trader not to make false or unprovable claims - succeeds, they anyone selling the Bible could also be liable under the same laws. But the Australian Skeptics society, which is helping bankroll the case, said a victory would show creationist and New Age advocates they have no special privileges from the normal commercial laws of the land. Plimer, author of a 1994 book called "Telling Lies for God', has defended his attack on Roberts. "I am not a fanatical extremist, a gunslinging atheist", he said. "(But) as a geologist, it's time to say this is codswallop". Roberts, who has been trying to find Noah's Ark for 30 years, toured Australia in 1992 to raise funds for an expedition to examine a boatlike structure on Mount Ararat. He claimed to have found scientific evidence of the presence of ribs of a boat, petrified wood, fossilized dung and anchors made of stone.
"A group called Ark Search, which also is being sued, sold tickets for lectures, tapes and books. Roberts, who has refused to comment before the case, said of his alleged find, "If this is not Noah's Ark, then what is it?" However, Plimer, who has sold his house and spent $240,000 preparing his case, said the answer was far more down to earth. When he visited the Turkish site in 1994, he found it was an ordinary rock formation, partly covered in mud that was at least 110 million years old. Justice Ron Sackville will not be asked to put Darwin on trial, rule directly on whether the structure is Noah's Ark or weigh the merits of science vs. creationism. His job is to determine, according to Plimer's statement of claim, if Roberts "engaged in conduct which is misleading or deceptive ... within the meaning of the Trade Practices Act." The Queensland-based Creation Science Foundation is trying to distance itself from Roberts, saying that because he believes he has found Noah's Ark does not mean he is a mainstream creationist. In a written statement on the Internet it warns: "It is not inconceivable that a court, confronted with a string of 'expert witnesses', could find the resurrection of the dead was impossible, therefore anyone selling a Bible and saying its contents were true would be liable". One of Plimer's supporters, paleontologist Alex Ritchie of the Australian Museum, said every scientist should attend a creationist meeting. "If they did", he said, "they would realize the extent of distortion and misinterpretation of science that underpins the whole movement, and they would come out with a raging desire to do something about it"."
Many religions say they can accept Evolution theories along with the Bible. They say the creation story could have taken millions of years. Then there are the religions that only accept what the Bible says, and accept the supernatural explanation of creation, and have set up organizations called Creation Science, such as the Genesis Institute. I hope Science and Religion can soon accept the High Tech Colonization of Earth, so we can stop our Heterosexual Mis-Breeding, return to Asexual High Tech reproduction, and start taking Care of the Planet and the Life on it, as the Equal Caretakers we were supposed to do 'in the Beginning'.
K.C. STAR, 10/23/19'77'. "To Some, Today Is Earth's Birthday" Nashville, Tenn. "Today is the Earth's birthday. According to the scholarly research of two almost forgotten English divines, creation was exactly 5,981 years ago - at 9 a.m., London time, Oct. 23, 4004 B.C. It's a long story; not as so long as it should be, but still too long to begin at the beginning. A man named James Ussher, born in 1581, grew up to be Angelican archbishop of Armagh in Ireland and a whiz at figuring the ages of Old Testament characters. After years of careful calculation, Ussher in 1650 began publication of his most important work, a Biblical chronology. He deduced, by adding up everyone's age, that in 4004 B.C. the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, saying, "Let there be light". Ussher was a no-nonsense fellow - his portrait shows a white-bearded man with a stern gaze, a formal black robe with a white-ruffled ring collar and a silk skull cap. He wasn't lightly dismissed. Several Bibles are published still with his dates in the margins. Enter Dr. John Lightfoot, vice-chancellor of prestigious St. Catherine's College in Cambridge in 1654 who calculated the exact hour and day of creation. In 1726, Johann Jakob Scheuchzer, a German scientist, determined that Noah shipped out in 2306 B.C. Their computations haven't withstood the test of time. The flood came up during the Scopes Monkey Trial in July, 1925, in Dayton, Tenn.
"William Jennings Bryan, the Great Commoner, the champion of fundamentalism and special prosecutor, was questioned by Clarence Darrow, the Great Agnostic and counsel for Scopes, who was teaching Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. "How long ago was the flood, Mr. Bryan?" Darrow asked. "They figured it up with the help of Bishop Ussher's chronology as being 2348 B.C.," Bryan said. "Don't you know", Darrow asked, "that there are any number of civilizations that are traced back to more than 5,000 years?" "I have never felt a great deal of interest in the effort that has been made to dispute the Bible by the speculation of men or the investigations of men", Bryan said. At one juncture they discussed Genesis and what was meant by the word "days" in its report of creation. At length, Bryan agreed that it could have meant periods that could have lasted millions of years. Today's scholars, measuring the decay of uranium isotopes in rocks, figure Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. And they said "Let there be light" occurred about 10 billion years before that - about 5 billion years after the formation of the galaxy and about 10 billion years after the birth of the universe. Life, they said, wasn't so quick in coming. The first bacteria reared its head about 3.1 billion years ago. Man was a late bloomer. His earliest kin, ramapithecus, ambled in about 19 million years ago and homo sapiens strolled along about 100,000 years ago. No one noted the day. If a 1,000-page were written each page devoted to 4.5 million years of Earth's history, ramapithecus would appear about three pages from the end. And the last 10,000 years - from the time man began farming and paved the way for civilization to the time he put an object on Mars - would be compressed in the last word"
Once Man can understand Earth 'was' Colonized by High Tech, it will explain all the millions of years of Life that science says it took to evolve. Colonization can be compressed in the last word of the book, and then the time of evolution in the 1000-page book, can be compressed into no pages, but only a paragraph. Man today, can accept space travel and colonization of other planets, but can not accept the Colonization of Planet Earth, by the supernatural Man Gods that flew in the air, in fiery chariots. High Tech 'is' 'Super'natural. This is so obvious in the Bible and in other religious writings and myths, since we have regained the knowledge of High Tech. Let us hope it is time for the understanding of the past mysteries of Life on Earth, and in Space, to learn if we have a Future or not, with all our Pollution and nuclear bomb and nuclear waste. Higher and Lower Beings, higher and lower ages of mankind, etc., are stated in Man's writings and myths. It can be explained with the High Tech knowledge of High Tech Birth of Higher Beings, and with the Heterosexual Body Birth of Lower Beings. Human Bondage was the 'Original' Sin of the 'Original' Asexual Colony of Adam and Eve. Christ/Asexual is Balanced Genetics and Ecology Elements, which results in Eternal Physical Life. Anti-Christ/Heterosexual is Unbalanced Genetics and Ecology Elements which results in Physical Death. Whom shall we Serve? Which type of person should we reproduce? The One True God of the Hydrogen Atom Universes, the Source Of Life (SOL), is the One God of religion that no one has ever seen. God/SOL joins together the seed of Man, in the High Tech Womb or the Womb of the female. Whatsoever Man sows, that also shall he reap. Can we blame the SOL for what Life is joined together, because Man sows their seed without Care?
