Miss Rogerson is a "middle-aged lady who taught a Sunday-school class for twenty years." She was Anne's Sunday-school teacher who asked Anne a lot of questions on Anne's first day of Sunday-school. Anne felt that she would like to ask questions of Miss Rogerson but felt Miss Rogerson was not a kindred spirit.

Prillie's father who thought she wasn't coming along fast enough in arithmetic in Anne's Avonlea class. Anne feels that if she would stop making eyes at the boys in class she would come along fast enough.
