Sunday, day 1
Drive across Kansas.
Visit the Cathedral of the Plains, the Sternberg Natural History Museum, and the Monument Rocks.

Monday, day 2
Drive to Denver, visited the Zoo.
On to Boulder and the Foot of the Mountains Motel. Cute!

 Tuesday, day 3
Drive to Estes Park & the RMNP
(Rocky Mountain National Park)!

Wednesday, day 4
Spend most of the day in RMNP.
Later, DH goes fly fishing!

Thursday, day 5
DH trys his hand at fly fishing
the Big Thompson River.
Later, we hiked in RMNP.

 Friday, day 6
All-day drive across Colorado; spent night in Vernal, Utah. Listened to great audio tape!

Saturday, day 7
Visited Dinosaur National Park, then headed for drive back through Colorado, stopping at Montrose, the Gateway to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Sunday, day 8
Spent morning at Black Canyon. Headed south through Ouray, Silverton, Durango, and farther south, stopping at Farmington, New Mexico.

Monday, day 9
South to Albuquerque, NM. Visited Albuquerque Biological Park; later, had dinner with Jan's grade school friend, Marsha, & her family.

Tuesday, day 10
Travel day.

Wednesday, day 11
Visited "The World's Largest Hand-dug Well" in Greensburg, KS, then on to Kansas City.
