 The Albuquerque Biological Park

Jan and I enjoyed the small but high quality aquarium first. To use the description of small is not to indicate they had only 10 gallon aquariums, by any means! Several quite large tanks housed a wide range of marine life, including the largest green moray eels I've ever seen. Another tank was filled with an extraordinarily exquisite collection of jellyfish!


Green Morays, anyone?

The Biological Park is a new facility, opening in December, 1996.



The gardens were quite lovely! Here's a couple more photos taken at the Biological Park.

Jan and Marsha were buddies all through grade school, and into high school, too. Jan's Mom was a teacher, and Marsha's Mom was the school nurse. Thus, the two girls arrived at school earlier than the other kids, and they became fast friends during this extra time together.
