I praise You and I thank You
for all that You have done
the blessings you've poured out,
and the victories which were won.
Every time I get knocked down
You're there to pick me up
You see my pain, You heal my hurt
and overflow my cup.
My life, since You, has been a ride
I certainly will admit
because of all my stubbornness
and unwillingness to submit.
It's easy to trust for others You see
knowing You'll answer their prayer;
but, when it comes to myself and my needs
the trust isn't easily there.
I wonder why it's not too hard
to have faith for everyone else,
and when it comes to the things that I want
I don't seem to have faith for myself?
But, You have been faithful time and again
in situations up till this day,
and I know in my heart You will do it again
if I continue to trust and obey!
